WHY IS BV-OSC VITAMIN C SUPERIOR TO L-ASCORBIC ACID?

BV-OSC (Tetrahexyldecl Ascorbate) is a more stable, oil soluble form of vitamin C that is ideal for those with sensitive skin.  Unlike water-soluble vitamin C L-Ascorbic Acid, BV-OSC Vitamin C penetrates to the deeper layers of the skin and is less likely to cause irritation than L-Ascorbic Acid. Because of this deeper penetration, you don't need as high of a percentage of the vitamin C. For example, 10% BV-OSC delivers the same results as 20-30% of L-ascorbic acid without irritating the skin.

Sunflower (Helianthus Annuus) Seed Oil Unsaponifiables
Unsaponfiables are the small part of the oil that resists saponification (the chemical reaction that happens during soap making). In the case of sunflower oil, it's about 1.5-2% of the overall oil and consists of skin-nourishing molecules like free fatty acids, barrier building linoleic acid, tocopherol (vitamin E) and sterols that all aid in improving dryness and overall texture of the skin. 

Ethoxydiglycol
