WHY IS BV-OSC VITAMIN C SUPERIOR TO L-ASCORBIC ACID?

BV-OSC (Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate) is a more stable, oil-soluble form of vitamin C that is ideal for those with sensitive skin.  Unlike water-soluble vitamin C L-Ascorbic Acid, BV-OSC Vitamin C penetrates to the deeper layers of the skin and is less likely to cause irritation than L-Ascorbic Acid. Because of this deeper penetration, you don't need as high of a percentage of the vitamin C. For example, 10% BV-OSC delivers the same results as 20-30% of L-ascorbic acid without irritating the skin.

Flash Forward Directions: Thoroughly cleanse skin. Wet face using warm water, and apply a thin, even layer of Flash Forward, massaging in a circular motion for 30 seconds. Leave on skin for one to three minutes, as tolerated. Rinse with cool water and pat dry. For best results, use two or three times a week. Can be used in the shower.

Sensitive Skin: Thoroughly cleanse skin. Wet face using warm water, and apply a thin, even layer of Flash Forward. Let sit on skin for 30 seconds, or a maximum of three minutes, as tolerated. Avoid scrubbing. Rinse with cool water and pat dry. Use once a week until skin adjusts to intensity.  

*Mild redness is a normal part of the enzymatic exfoliation process and should disappear within 5 - 15 minutes. **Hot water intensifies the Thermal Warming Complex. If the product starts to feel too hot, rinse with cold water.  ***Can cause sensitivity to the sun. Be sure to wear sun protection daily.

Lightspeed Directions: Apply a dime-size amount to clean face, neck, and chest, morning and/or evening. Allow at least 5 minutes to absorb before applying SPF or makeup.
